Website Design That Turns Visitors Into Inquiries

We design professional, mobile-friendly websites for spas, salons, photographers, and other local businesses that run on appointments. Each site has a clear structure and an obvious next step on every page, and you can see our starting prices before the first call.

  • Written proposal Scope and price agreed first
  • Starting at $500 For a one-page launch website
  • You own the site Once it’s paid in full
  • One point of contact From first call to launch

Who this service is for

For businesses whose customers check the website before they book

Think spas, salons, estheticians, wellness studios, photographers, and event services: owner-operated businesses where the website’s job is to start a conversation.

Your customers often compare a few options on a phone before they reach out. They want to know what you offer, whether they can trust you, and how to book. We build websites that answer those three questions quickly, on every page.

A strong fit if you…

  • are opening a business and need a professional first website
  • have a dated or do-it-yourself site that undersells your work
  • rely on social media posts and want a home base you own
  • want visitors to call, request an appointment, or send a complete inquiry
  • prefer a written scope and a published starting price before you commit

When we’re not the right fit

We don’t manage paid advertising or build custom software. If your project calls for either, we’ll tell you on the consultation and suggest a specialist who does that work.

Common website problems we address

Six problems that stop visitors from getting in touch

They’re easy to miss from the inside. You already know what you offer and how to reach you — a first-time visitor on a phone doesn’t.

See what a website project includes
01 — Mobile

Hard to use on a phone

Small text, cramped buttons, and menus that are awkward to tap. When a visitor has to pinch and zoom to find your number, the next search result is one tap away.

02 — Message

An unclear offer

A homepage full of general statements that never says plainly what you do, who it’s for, and where. We structure each page to lead with your services, your service area, and the reasons to choose you.

03 — Next step

No obvious next step

The phone number hides in the footer, and pages end without an invitation to act. We keep your phone number and inquiry button within easy reach on a phone, and end every page by asking visitors to get in touch.

04 — Speed

Slow to load

Oversized images, heavy page builders, and extra plugins make pages drag on mobile data. We keep the build lean, size images for each screen, and test in Google PageSpeed Insights before launch. On the Gen Spa rebuild, the time for the mobile homepage’s main content to appear fell from 6.2 to 2.4 seconds (after-test dated ).

05 — Search

Hard for search engines to understand

Missing page titles, one page trying to cover every service, and headings chosen for their size rather than their meaning. Search engines are left to guess which page to show for which service.

06 — Measurement

No way to measure inquiries

Without measurement, you can’t tell whether the website brings in calls and messages or simply sits there. Decisions about the site end up resting on hunches instead of results.

What’s included

What goes into a website we build

Every package covers these areas except analytics: a Google Analytics connection comes with the three- and five-page packages. Your written proposal lists exactly what yours includes.

Mobile-responsive design

We design for the phone first, then adapt each layout for tablets and desktops, so nothing important gets hidden or squeezed on a small screen. Text stays readable without zooming, and buttons are sized for a thumb.

  • Tap-to-call phone number
  • Layouts checked at phone, tablet, and desktop widths
  • No sideways scrolling

Website structure and user experience

Before any design work, we plan which pages you need, what each one has to answer, and the order a visitor reads it in. The goal is a site a first-time visitor can understand at a glance.

  • Short, predictable navigation
  • Clear headings and scannable sections
  • One consistent visual style throughout

Contact and consultation forms

Every package includes a contact form built around what you need to reply well, such as the service someone wants and when they’d like to come in. Every field has to earn its place.

  • A clear confirmation after sending
  • Messages delivered to your inbox
  • Test submissions before launch

Basic SEO setup

We set up the on-page basics search engines read first, so each page clearly describes what it offers. It’s a solid foundation, not an ongoing SEO campaign.

  • A unique title and search-result description for each page
  • A logical heading structure
  • Descriptive image text (alt text)
Explore SEO and local SEO services

Accessibility fundamentals

Accessibility basics help visitors who use screen readers, keyboards, or larger text settings, and they make the site easier for everyone. We build them in from the start. They are not a formal accessibility audit or a legal compliance certification.

  • Readable color contrast
  • Labeled form fields and buttons
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation

Analytics and conversion tracking

The three- and five-page packages include a Google Analytics connection, so you can see how many people visit and what they read. Tracking for calls and form submissions can be added to your scope; if it is, your proposal lists exactly what is measured and what it costs.

  • Where visitors come from
  • Which pages they read
  • Form submissions and tap-to-call clicks, when included in your proposal

How a project runs

Our design and development process

Each stage ends with a clear handoff, so you always know what we’re working on and what we need from you.

Your proposal sets out the timeline, and it depends on you providing the required text, photographs, logos, approvals, and account access on time.

  1. 01

    Consultation — Free

We talk through how your business works, who your customers are, and what the website needs to do. You get our honest recommendation on the package that fits, including when a smaller one will do the job.

  2. 02

    Written proposal

You receive the scope, pages, deliverables, timeline, exclusions, and final price in writing. Work begins once you approve it and make the 50% initial payment.

  3. 03

    Structure and design

We plan the pages and the path to your contact form, then design the key layouts for your review. Agreeing on structure first keeps later changes small.

  4. 04

    Build and content

We build the site with your finalized text, logo, and images, then set up the contact form, basic SEO, and any analytics your package includes.

  5. 05

    Review and revisions

You review the complete draft and send your changes as one consolidated list. The one- and three-page packages include one revision round; the five-page package includes two. Additional work outside the approved scope requires written approval and an additional quote.

  6. 06

    Launch and handover

The remaining 50% is due after final approval and before the website is publicly launched. We then publish the site on your domain, test the forms and links, and confirm you have full access to your website, domain, and hosting accounts.

All three packages include mobile-friendly design and a contact form, and assume you supply finalized text, logo, and images. Need more? You can add pages, starting at $150 each, or have us write the copy, starting at $100 per page.

What website prices don’t include

Domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, paid software, advanced integrations and third-party subscriptions are separate unless specifically included in the written proposal.

Third-party accounts such as your domain, hosting and software subscriptions are purchased and owned directly by you. Gen Digital Marketing will assist with setup and configuration and may be added as a collaborator.

Online booking, payments, CRM, and automation are advanced features priced separately, with booking-system integration starting at $350. After launch, Managed Website Care keeps the site updated, monitors security and backups, and tests your contact form, starting at $99 per month.

Case studies

A rebuild and a first website, both live

If your current site feels dated, start with Gen Spa: we took over its existing WordPress site and rebuilt it page by page. If your business lives on social media, start with iBlast Photobooth, whose first website we designed and built from scratch. Both sites are public, so the finished work is there to test, not just to read about.

Questions

What owners ask before starting a website

Something else on your mind? Ask it on the free consultation — or email Info@gendigitalmarketing.com.

What does a small-business website cost?

Our starter websites are one-time projects: the One-Page Launch Website is priced starting at $500, the Three-Page Starter Website starting at $750, and the Five-Page Small-Business Website starting at $1,000. What moves the final figure is the page count, who writes the content, and any features or integrations you add; the written proposal confirms it before work begins. Domain and hosting are paid separately, directly to those providers.

Do I need to provide the content?

Yes. All three starter packages assume you supply finalized text, a logo, and images before the build begins. If writing isn’t your strength, professional copywriting is available, starting at $100 per page. Your proposal lists exactly what we need from you and when, because content is often what sets the pace of a project.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. Mobile-friendly design is part of every package, not an add-on. Before launch we check each page on phone, tablet, and desktop screen sizes, so your phone number, buttons, and contact form are easy to use with one hand.

Can you add online booking or payments?

Yes, as advanced features priced separately from the starter packages: booking-system integration, starting at $350; online-payment integration, starting at $350; and advanced booking setup, starting at $750. The booking or payment provider’s own subscription and transaction fees are separate, and your written proposal spells out exactly what gets connected.

Who owns the website?

You do. You buy the domain and hosting in your business’s name from day one, with our help setting them up, and we’re added as a collaborator where needed, so access never depends on us. The text and photos you supply are always yours. After the final payment, the finished site belongs to your business too, and at launch we confirm you can log in to every account yourself. The only things we hold back are our own working tools, such as internal templates and processes, and any licensed theme, plugin, font, or stock photo stays under its maker’s terms.

Will a new website guarantee more inquiries?

No. Gen Digital Marketing does not guarantee rankings, lead volume or revenue. A clear, fast, mobile-friendly website removes common obstacles that can stop interested visitors from contacting you, but inquiry numbers also depend on your market, your pricing, your reputation, and how many people find the site. That is why the three- and five-page packages include a Google Analytics connection: so you can see what the website actually does.
