Overview

Creating a stronger digital home for an established wellness brand.

Gen Spa is a therapeutic massage and wellness business in Florida with years of credibility and an extensive service offering. We took over the existing Gen Spa website and rebuilt it in its entirety: the homepage, About, Services, Massage Therapy, Body Care, Skin Care, FAQ, Booking, Contact, Social, Video Library, and Licensing & Credentials pages were all rebuilt page by page under one consistent visual theme, rather than as isolated fixes. Our work covered website management, WordPress and Elementor development, SEO support, content creation, visual production, performance improvements, and digital operations.

The challenge

The business had strong expertise, but the website experience was fragmented.

  • The homepage and several other pages used outdated layouts and inconsistent visual styles.
  • Service pages, blog content, licensing information, FAQs, and appointment notices needed clearer structure and updating.
  • Mobile responsiveness, page performance, internal linking, and metadata needed ongoing improvement.
  • Promotional video assets existed but were not organized into a usable website library.
  • The Social page's live URL was serving an unrelated blog article instead of social content, and needed to be rebuilt from scratch.
  • CRM planning, lead categories, and appointment/booking workflows were not yet consolidated into one system.

Work completed

Website, content, systems, and growth support.

Took over & rebuilt the site

Inherited the existing Gen Spa website and rebuilt every major page — homepage, About, Services, Massage Therapy, Body Care, Skin Care, FAQ, Booking, Contact, and Social — page by page under one consistent visual theme, replacing outdated layouts and inconsistent styles site-wide.

Licensing & credentials page

Built a dedicated Licensing & Credentials page listing independently verifiable Florida license numbers for both locations and the practitioner, with schema markup for search engines.

Content & SEO

Created and updated service pages, blog pages, licensing content, FAQs, and appointment notices, and improved internal linking, page structure, and metadata.

Video library

Built and added a Gen Spa Video Library using the business's historical promotional videos.

Performance optimization

Worked on mobile responsiveness and performance optimization, including reducing render-blocking resources.

Visual production

Created blog graphics and AI-assisted website images to support new and existing content.

Digital operations

Built a dedicated Booking page routing to Square Appointments for each location, and planned HubSpot CRM organization, forms, lead categories, and follow-up workflows.

The five sections below are a closer look at individual pages from that full-site redesign, each rebuilt under the same visual theme.

Featured sub-project

From broken video grid to structured wellness library

A closer look at one page from the full-site redesign: rebuilding the Video Library page. This work covered page structure, content organization, video presentation, archive organization, visual consistency, calls to action, disclaimer content, and footer improvements.

The problem: an outdated and unusable video page

The previous video page relied on a basic grid of embedded videos, several of which were private or unavailable, making the content difficult for visitors to understand or explore. There was little context explaining what each video contained, no clear content categories, weak content hierarchy, and no meaningful archive presentation — the page did not effectively communicate the value of Gen Spa's video content.

Before

The solution: a structured wellness library

The page was rebuilt section by section. The screenshots below are captures of the same completed page, shown in the order a visitor scrolls through it.

After — 1 of 6

Clear entry point

Created a branded hero section that immediately explains the purpose of the Video Library and directs visitors toward featured content or appointment booking.

After — 2 of 6

Better content organization

Added clear video categories and supporting copy so visitors can understand the library and find relevant content more easily.

After — 3 of 6

Informative video cards

Replaced unsupported video embeds with structured cards that give each video a thumbnail, category, title, description, date, and clear viewing action.

After — 4 of 6

Restored archival content

Organized older testimonial and promotional footage into clear, branded cards instead of leaving historically valuable content buried or unavailable.

After — 5 of 6

Transparency and next steps

Added an archival disclaimer for clarity and paired the content with calls to continue watching or book an appointment.

After — 6 of 6

Complete supporting information

Finished the page with an organized footer containing business, location, licensing, disclaimer, and navigation information.

What we improved

  • Reorganized the page into understandable sections
  • Replaced unusable embeds with descriptive video cards
  • Added content categories
  • Created a featured-video experience
  • Organized historical footage into an archive
  • Added explanatory copy and disclaimers
  • Added YouTube and booking calls to action
  • Improved visual consistency with Gen Spa's current brand
  • Updated supporting footer and licensing information

Outcome

The redesigned page now presents Gen Spa's current educational videos and historical footage through a clearer, more organized, and professionally branded viewing experience.

Featured sub-project

Rebuilding the About page

Another page from the full-site redesign: rebuilding the About page from a short bio paragraph into a dedicated founder story page.

Before
After

The previous About page paired a short founder bio with an embedded video that was private and unavailable. The redesigned page opens with a dedicated hero section built around the founder's story, alongside credentials, years of practice, and location details — replacing a bio paragraph and a broken video with a clearer narrative entry point.

Featured sub-project

Rebuilding the Services page

Another page from the full-site redesign: turning a long-form, text-heavy services page into a scannable, priced service catalog.

Before
After

The previous services page presented each treatment as a long paragraph of descriptive text next to a photo, with pricing buried in the copy. The redesigned page organizes services into a scannable grid of pricing cards — each labeled by category, with session lengths and prices stated up front and a clear booking action.

Featured sub-project

Rebuilding the Skin Care page

Another page from the full-site redesign: modernizing the Skin Care page's layout and fixing a navigation display issue.

Before
After

The previous Skin Care page listed treatments as plain text blocks and had a navigation menu rendering on top of the page copy. The redesigned page opens with a clear hero section, trust badges, location-specific booking buttons, and quick-jump tags to each treatment.

Featured sub-project

Rebuilding the FAQ page

Another page from the full-site redesign: turning a single wall of Q&A text into an organized, categorized FAQ.

Before
After

The previous FAQ page presented every question and answer as one continuous block of text laid over a background photo, which hurt readability. The redesigned page groups all 28 questions into tappable categories, each expanding to show individual, clearly formatted question-and-answer entries.

More pages from the redesign

Five more pages, rebuilt under the same visual theme.

These pages were rebuilt as part of the same full-site redesign as the sections above. No "before" screenshots were captured for these particular pages, so each is shown as a live, after-only screenshot of the current site.

Results

A more consistent, credible website — with verified performance gains.

The work brought Gen Spa's homepage, service pages, blog content, visuals, and video library into a more consistent system, with performance improvements measured and CRM planning underway. Specific traffic and lead numbers are intentionally left out until they can be confirmed with data we can show.

Gen Spa homepage redesign. A before-and-after comparison of the Gen Spa homepage, showing the transformation from the previous design into a more modern, structured, visually consistent, and user-focused website experience. Verified work: homepage layout redesign, content organization, visual and brand consistency, mobile responsiveness, updated page structure, AI-assisted visual production, SEO-focused content presentation, and overall website modernization.
